There have been numerous sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO) for centuries across the globe. With the recent UFO footage being released from the Pentagon, it is difficult to deny that vehicles foreign to our world actually travel through the skies.

Thus, the debate currently remains in regards to an explanation for the origin of UFOs. Many argue that the beings operating behind the wheel are Extraterrestrials (ET)— implying that the UFO has traveled from another planet. The only way to truly put this debate at rest is further research into the great unknown.

While the videos released have resulted in confirmation for some, they have led to confusion for others. Regardless, there is much worry on behalf of either side.

“I’m glad the Pentagon is finally releasing this footage, but it only scratches the surface of research and materials available,” former Senate majority leader Harry Reid, Democrat of Nevada, said in a tweet. “The U.S. needs to take a serious, scientific look at this and any potential national security implications.”

Unidentified: it’s in the name.

That’s where the uncertainty stems from, in the unknown. Whether it be an alien or the likes of something more natural, there must be more research dedicated to the issue at hand.

Make the unknown known.
